  • 6 packets of free seeds with February issue?

Page 96 of January magazine, am I reading it right that we get 6 packets of free seeds with the February issue? If so, i'm looking forward to those. I've never grown PSB or Chard before. Something to look forward to after Christmas.

Grown all of those except the Vulcan variety of chard and they're all nice and easy.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

I really must read up on what to expect seed-wise next month!! Just been and bought some chard. To be honest I'll probably only use the carrots as got loads of the others, and beetroot is the only thing neither me nor Mrs Vince will eat. So if anyone wants any of mine, PM me. Gardeners Delight tomatoes??? From what I've read on here, everyone grows varieties that are a lot more interesting than that - come on, GYO Mag, bit of imagination please, not the same old common varieties.

I quite like Gardeners Delight tomatoes, I'll probably grow them all alongside my usual suspects.

Mine too - first of my subscription - has a sheet attached saying I can get an additional free copy at the end of my subscription if I let them have my Name, Postcode and email. They do of course already have the first two which is shown on the same sheet of paper.

Mine arrived too today, along with a load of gardening catalogues. Made such a "thump" on the doormat, it made me jump and I nearly spilt the tea I was drinking!
