We had a hail shower yesterday and I heard a roll of thunder at the end of it.

Temperature just dropped 8°C, from 13°C to 5°C, in ten minutes. Brrr!
To be fair, it was under a hail shower.

After a cold but mostly sunny day yesterday, we are now back to cold, wet and windy (predicted 42mph today).
I had planted out the first half dozen tomato plants in the G/H about a week ago but am holding off on the rest just in case.
If you believe the BBC, their forecasting shows no frosts for the next 2 weeks (and Metcheck seems to agree) and by then it's the 21st May so maybe no more frosts this spring at all.
Keeping my fingers crossed as by then my spuds should be above ground and I don't fancy having to go round and cover all those up.

Eurgh so done with this weather. Sunny then pouring rain today. Really cold too, didn’t even put the tomatoes out in the gh today.

Sunnyish at the moment but very dark cloud is banking up and as soon as one covers the sun it feels a lot colder than the 8°c that's showing on the thermometer.

Fingers crossed Peanut.
Sunny start and still hitting minus in the greenhouse, ice on the birdbath. Clouding in fast and a forecast of heavy rain
