  • Rainbows over the plot

    Rainbow photos are always nice.
We had some rain to fill the buts up as well.
The wind has been ripping the leaves off the runner beans too. Click image for larger version

Not over the plot but viewed from our windows. It was a double but hard to see the second

I have had another one a couple of days ago over my plot.
It was a right handed one this time.

            Lovely!

Have you noticed that with the double ones the red is always on the innerside with the greens/blues on the furthest edge?

I'd not really noticed that before!

I may spot more faint double ones from now on seeing as I know which side to look for it

Hmm...I've had a bit of a goooogle and it doesn't look like that's always the case

But whatever....always a thrill to see even a single one eh?

My first photo does have a faint double.

We are having some prime rainbow weather right now.
It would have needed a fancy lens to get it all in shot today and it was a double too.

We have had another double yesterday. It was not a full arch like the last one.

We had a rainbow again. It was not as bright as some of the others but it is a faint double.
