  • Mostly harvested last year's fermented grape juice last night at the village's 14th July celebrations. It is unlikely I will be doing much vigorous gardening today, even though the sun is out!

          • Crazy isn't it Nicos, I have been outside crocheting in the sun and I had to come in, it's too hot! I'm not complaining though

            • Just clocked 31 here - but snow is forecast for the mountains on Tuesday and with it dropping to 2 degrees maybe down here as well.

Must get the tender stuff in. And take me shorts off

                • Just escaped a frost here (Pays de la Loire). 1C outside, but a 'cosy' 9.5c in the new conservatory, so gives a good level of protection so far. But we have frost pockets in the garden so I will need to check what has happened later today. Glad I got all most of my tender stuff under cover yesterday.
