Couldn’t believe my eyes!

Yesterday against a grey clouded sky the erratic flight of a crow overhead caught my attention. I suddenly realised what was happening. A large bumble bee [presumably a queen] was flying approximately house height moving left then right, the erratically flying crow was chasing it, caught it and returned to alight on the roof of a house. I presume the crow swallowed it, presumably because my eyesight is not that good. I did not think a crow would actively chase and catch a bee. Has anyone witnessed this before. After googling I found nothing on this subject.

Crows are agile and will eat anything.

Sad that given bees are declining to find yet another enemy. Eliminating a Queen is of course much more damaging than a worker.
