Garlic failure

Garlic harvest

I lifted my garlic today and I'm just delighted with it. Great big bulbs split into big fat cloves.
The variety was Melody, from the Scottish company in Nairn, and I bought it in the supermarket. It was planted in November in a bread crate.

can anyone reccomend a variety of garlic that is rust resistant

My single over wintered decent garlic , i think i'm going to use spring planting stuff from now on, our clay soil + sitting about gathering spores all winter = bad small rusty garlic
