Burnie last year I sown a couple of buckets of parsnips putting them in the GH so I wouldn’t have to resort to pouring boiling water on them again. Last time we had bad frosts that was the only way I could get them out the ground.

A few beetroot and a couple of sticks of celery to go with some onions from the garage to make borscht.

The last of my sprouts including the tops which I look on as a growers bonus because the tops are rarely for sale in shops.

Brussel tops freeze well after blanching,I ate some in the summer once, microwaved they were lovely & the texture was still really good. I keep looking at the tiny purple heads on my broccoli,I’ll pick them all off soon

                                Kale and purple sprouting

Some apples from the communal orchard at the allotment, for making a crumble. That tree really retains its fruit well, and they seem unfazed by the frost, too.
