  • Jalapeņo Chilli, inside or out?

My jalapeņo chillis are growing, albeit slowly. Should I put them outside or inside the greenhouse,

    Kind Regards.......Rob

If you have room definitely in the greenhouse....chillies and peppers are heat lovers.

Def inside if you can. Capsicums like the heat and need a long warm growing season, so the greenhouse will give you that extended growth and development when you need it Sept/Oct.

The reason people overwinter some pepper plants is to get that early start at the begining of the growing season. For me peppers are one reason for a heated propogator and grow lights to get them away early enough to have that long hot season available.
