I drove to the other side of edinburgh looking to get the 8x6 poly card pack only to find out the stock check done in another store was wrong, but it did say there was 5 8x6 greenhouse frames and bases left in the Livingston WH on Sunday.

I did get the 6 x 4 aluminium frame for £30 and wanted to see if anyone has got as far as trying to make/buy polycarbonate panels for it instead of using the glass packs(have a 2 month old who will not doubt crawling then walking and would have easy access to the greenhouse).

Job done I am now the proud owner of a 6' x 24' brassica cage

The netting has been attached to the frame with carpet gripper It holds the netting in place on those little spikes. For the record, you can stretch a 10' wide piece of netting to 12' - so it only took 2 widths to cover the frame.

It was a struggle getting two in, but by removing headrests and flattening front passenger seat they just fitted - touching windscreen and rear window

Just got back from collecting 2 4 x 6 greenhouses from Peterborough (2 more left if anyones interested).

These are actually for glass not polycarbonate and luckily there's someone on Preloved | Free Local Classified Ads in UK locally who has loads of horticultural glass available dirt cheap.
