  • Crapaudine beetroot.

I let one of my crapaudine beetroot go to seed - it's impressive just how much you get from one beetroot.

I haven't tested it for germination yet - I'll start that this weekend, but if you want to put your name down for some let me know.

      No problem Nicos.

Can I safely assume that since it was the only beetroot I grew (also no chard etc), and as a heritage variety, it will be true to type?

I've got a bit more than this - probably about 100g or so. Not bad from one plant!

I'd have thought it would come true.
That's an impressive amount of seed!
Do let me know if I can send you anything in exchange....no point in sending just an envelope inside an envelope!

Should be OK, according to Realseeds advice. https://www.realseeds.co.uk/seedsavinginfo.html

Germination tested at 90%, although if I left it longer then I think the last seed would sprout too, so now we know it's good to go.
