Saving Kenilworth King George and Black Cherry as other than gardeners delight and outdoor girl they're the only ones I have that are ripe. The way the weather is blight is bound to happen on our site soon so not sure if anything else will get to ripen, fingers crossed.
How many seeds do I need to save?

just reread the 1st post so about 80-100 seeds of each would be about right then.

Due to my couple of injuries, time in hospital and the extreme hot weather we had I lost all the plants from the VSP that I had grown and the only surviving tomatoes are 9 x Red Robin, 3 x Micro Tom and 2 x Baiconi Red so I'm guessing I will get enough Red Robin seeds but as for a second that will have to wait and be seen, a few flowers on each plant and some very small fruits only just coming.

Get them dry and then hopefully we will know how many aren't the circle.
Then it's bag up one bag for each with 6-10 seeds per bag.
I will then send out my address.
You send seeds out in a sturdy envelope - I will reuse this to resend back to you.
Enclose a large stamp- 1st or second class. And a label with your name and address on. Please also include your grape name so I know who you are.

Please can I have a show of hands who is still in and what seeds you are hoping to dry....
I can update the front page and then grapes can work out roughly how many seeds they need to have.

I'm still in but nothing is ripening yet. My original hope was Summer Cider and Black Krim but there don't look to be a lot of green fruit on either. Can I make substitutions later? I have green fruit in quantity on Britains Breakfast, Marizol Gold, Marvel Stripes and Sunsets Red Horizon but I don't know when (if?) they'll ripen. They are all late this year.

Yes...subs a fine. It just helps others choose what to save if we know what we all have growing and are hoping to save from.

I'll be saving Kenilworth King George and either Black Cherry or White Cherry. Not sure I will get enough ripe from the others I'm growing.

                          I'm still in.

Currently have lots of ripe toms. Most likely Red Star, Jersey Devil are doing well. Possibly Mazarini too....plus more options also.

Hi Scarlet I am in as well..
Still hoping to save Black Mauri which are ripening now,
Demidov still on the list but a bit slower.
Black Trifle and Homosa also in the running.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.
