  • Chervil

I was under the impression that chervil was an annual. Well it's still alive and we got down to -13!

I tried jogging, but I couldn't keep the ice in my glass.

Mine has come back too - I chopped it right back last summer as it was taking over the veg bed!! and it seems to be thriving even though its cold!
    My oregano has also survived.

Oregano is very hardy little plant....I say little, it spreads like billy o.

I dug up a marjoram the other week, we got at least 50 3 inch pot sized chunks, plus we have at last 5 2 ft mounds of it - and all from one original plant.

The boys in school were fascinated at how much could grow from one plant - bless them.

I am very surprised at the herbs that have survived the winter or are coming back through now - sage, oregano, lemon balm, mint, parsley, Chervil too - huge plant.

My rosemary died a death though, so have replaced it.
