Furny, could you post a photo of exactly what your bit of root looks like?

Can't post a pic at the moment. But like everyone says they are hard to kill so I think in compost it will be fine as it does have a lot of side roots & a couple cuttings have bottom roots, I may just stand them up in compost soon & see what happens.We shall see,thanks for all the help.
