Mexican Coriander/ Sawtooth herbs

I am thinking of getting this herb, it's latin name is :Eryngium foetidum.
Anyone ever grow it before ? I use it before some years ago and it has the aroma of coriander.
Woud it be handy to have it as it is said to be parennial ?
I am thinking of growing it in pot, indoor during winter. Let me know if it will work and is it worth it ?

I bought a small pot of it a few years ago and it was lovely that year however, despite what I expected, it never came again the following year, despite being kept in a pot in a frost free greenhouse over the worst of the winter. I may have been unlucky though so give it a go and let us know how you get on. I found the leaves less sweet that corriander, more kind of earthy but definitely useful.

Thanks for the info Alison . I get tempted as it is parennial (wishing of it for winter ). The usual coriander bolt so easily and by autumn I hardly had any growing (did freeze some coriander though). Will try to grow some and see what happen (if I can get the Seeds) and will let you know how it goes.
