    I've just googled it. A trailing nasturtium would work well in that, for sure.

      Some pots ... potted. Mostly with tulips which my wife had purchased unbeknown to me.

      Apparently ownership of these pots has moved....

        Tulips outside get dug up by the thuggish squirrels around here, and it’s a bit late to plant them this year.
        What about some alliums? Nothing much eats the ornamental alliums and they are gorgeous.
        Pot marigolds and nasturtiums are lovely from seed and if she likes bees maybe some borage from seed- although it might flop over in a tall pot. Advantage is all those flowers are edible too which she might like.
