Perfect, thank you so much for such a swift reply.. I can see I'm going to be spending a lot of time on here over the coming months. I have alsorts planned for the garden, putting it all into action may take a little longer.. If I want to ask questions about basket planting and summer flowers (not annuals but the ones that come back every year what's the best section as I put this question in the wrong place

You could grow it in a pot or in the garden. Hopefully it has plenty of soil left on the rootball!
Basically dig a hole, add some bone meal and plant it up to the same depth it was planted at!
Give it a good watering as well. You could stake it but if the rootball is big enough it may not need it!Leave a comment:

Hi there.. It was in my sons garden til this afternoon, he's dug it up, bought it over as he says he doesn't want it anymore ? I was very surprised as its a lovely specimen in really good condition.. I just don't want to kill it.I wsn't sure if I need to pot it up 1st or stake it as its so tall ??Leave a comment:

Been given a rather large Cordyline ?
I think I have been given a cordyline ? I'm not 100% sure thats what it is to be honest, it has some good roots on, its about 5 foot tall and was wondering if there is anything I should consider before I plant it tomorrow ? Thanks guys and gals
