  • Triteleia

In an Autumn bulb pack are some Triteleia and Alliums. Should I plant these now? I thought these were summer flowering.

I'd not heard of triteleia and so goggled them, to find they are what used to be called brodiaea. I have some in a dry spot.

I plant bulbs whenever I have them, Flo. I can't see it really matters if they are hardy enough to be outdoors and going in the garden. After all, they are going to stay there year round anyway. As long as they won't be sitting in wet, claggy soil they should be fine.

If you intend planting in pots and keeping them indoors though, I've no idea.
