Mine have a little bit of rust, but they are in a very dry corner, ( the ground has inch wide cracks in it ATM) that also catches a lot of wind. They put themselves here, it wasn't planned. I think this combination keeps them clean. I've tried growing them elsewhere but the combination of rich and moist soil means they succumb to rust even before they start to flower.

At the allotments one plot holder has allowed a yellow one to grow on semi wild.
At ground level it looks like a hard wood tree stump.

Absolute beauties, MH. Gorgeous colours and such a range of shapes. And so vigorous too. No wonder you're pleased. Congratulations.

Wow!…most impressive
They look really healthy compared to my rusty, nibbled ones.
Well done.
( I absolutely love the second one )
