            At the allotments one plot holder has allowed a yellow one to grow on semi wild.
            At ground level it looks like a hard wood tree stump.

                  Very nice. You are fortunate as I find them impossible to grow. They are still stunted and impossible to get rid of rust. Just planted it out in the garden but I doubt it will do anything now.

                    Mine have a little bit of rust, but they are in a very dry corner, ( the ground has inch wide cracks in it ATM) that also catches a lot of wind. They put themselves here, it wasn't planned. I think this combination keeps them clean. I've tried growing them elsewhere but the combination of rich and moist soil means they succumb to rust even before they start to flower.
