Is that caused by too much direct sun on them maybe? Just a thought???

Mine are supposed to be white and are now about 15cm high so I have a while to wait to find out.

I've sown some sweet peas from last years saved seeds they were a nice mix of purple, lilac, pink and white, and out of the 4 sweet peas that have flowered they are all dark purple.
Not really what I wanted but they do smell nice.
        Location....East Midlands.

          Very disappointing Martin.
My lobelia was sold as blue but the flowers are all purple.

And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,

My first pick of the year. "America", a grandiflora from the 1890s.

My winter sown ones are just starting to bud up now - look to be mostly pastel shades so far. Good big pants though, so hopefully plenty of flowers :-)

Most of mine have shown me their first flowers now. Just need the white ones really to complete the show.

I have Sweet Pea envy. Only just got them in the ground a couple of weeks ago, they're just starting to put on growth.
I have a reminder set up to sow in October this year!

Some of Mrs B's - Old Fashioned Mix (high scent mix by Kings) and the purple ones are Beaujolais. These are vases 5 and 6.

My friend sent a photo of her sweet peas on 4 May. She'd sowed some seeds in the empty tomato planter in the greenhouse last autumn, and had enough for a bunch or two in May. So - I'll be joining you peanut, autumn sowing for me!

Mrs D used to grow Sweet peas for a competition entry so this is very much her area of expertise. This year has certainly been a good year for them (in our garden anyway!)

Still waiting for the first flower!
The plants look healthy enough so it’s just a matter of time …..
