It's all that Muck & flooding you get on you plot Beryl

I still have a look at your site and think if oly our site was as good as this one! I guess thats the benifit of having a council run site , Ours is private but safe (we hope) but we have to do everything ourselves.

Glad you enjoyed the web site Nick. We may be council-owned but it is still an uphill struggle even for basics like security locks, adequate water, grass cutting (once a year is just not enough). Slow process but we are making some impression. Don't think we will ever be satisfied. That's half the fun of it - so they say!!!!

                Regards
                Beryl.

our last allotment was council owned and one of the lads persuaded the street cleaners to dump piles of leaves ( unofficially of course) onto an empty plot! Once they got the hang of the difference between deciduous and coniferous leaf mould, we were onto a winner.....loads of free leafmould to put in black bin bags. Worth a mention...unofficially of course!!! - saves them driving back to base to dump the stuff ..so longer tea and lunch breaks...win win situation for all!!!!
Nearly got the hang of the photos bit!!! first bit sorted but not the resizing as yet!
