I was feeling part of the scenery
I walked right out of the machinery
My heart going boom boom boom

That is a superb achievement and only 300lb short of the world record. Check out bigpumpkins.com for more info on this grower (Dorset Farmers) and other Uk attempts. The dedication and resouces it takes to make a weight of that magnitude is staggering.

Look out for more shows and potential record breakers in the coming weeks...
        (not from me mind! )

That's a cracking pumpkin Kernowyon. Congratulations. It doesn't matter if you're entry's late as it doesn't look as if anything's getting judged. But I make you the winner in the Pumpkin class.

From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.
