Do I have a orchard?

Good evening all,

exciting time for me as I have just taken on my 1st allotment. I am on Facebook as The no idea gardener. Trust me when I say that is very accurate!! loads of photos already.

I listen to the podcast to and from work. I listened with interest recently when you had a guest who was speaking about only needing 5 fruit trees to be an orchard.

now this in my question

in my garden I have / will have this year.

2 x apple trees
3 x Rhubarb Bush's
3 x goji berry trees
2 x blueberry trees
1 x Gooseberry Bush
lots of strawberry plants

at my allotment

2 x plum trees
2 x Unknown currant bushes
2 x Raspberry bushes
1 x Blackcurrant Bush
1 x pear

yes we as a family are fans of fruit!!

I will also be trying to grow losts of veg as well.

my question is do the bushes count towards me owning 2 x orchards ?

Only your apples and plums are actually trees, the rest are bushes or plants, however you have an impressive list of fruit plants that will hopefully give you lots of health food to eat.
