  • What does your allotment cost ?

I've just been reading part of an old thread on this site and somebody mentioned it cost 200 a year at their allotment site .

    https://www.growfruitandveg.co.uk/gr...ing-y-n-2.html (post number 13)

Wow ! I thought, then noticed the article was actually from 2016

I'm just interested in what a typical cost is around the UK. I've just paid 28 for next year.

26 for the year wher I live (Pontefract Area)

          Parish Council owned.
I wonder if Metroploitan council vs Parish council makes a difference.

            Does that include water?

21 last year. Water supply available for all plots and as much Council compost as we like(not the best though).

Wow that's good! That's what I pay for the water for my two plots alone per year!

I'm lucky enough to have my plot in the back of my garden - although it is sort of part of the garden as well. We put in a large(ish) plot alongside the greenhouse, which is just veg. Then I have raised beds around the garden, which are a mix of flowers, veg and herbs. So, almost cost-neutral.
