The new chickens that I bought when the lockdown ended have laid the first egg. It was only the size of a pigeons egg so there is plenty of room for improvement!

Raining when I went to bed last night, still raining this morning. My allotment really needed it.

Finally having a much faster internet
...had to buy a wifi router and external aerial and spend all day fitting it (OH)... involving drilling through floors and walls to fit the extension cables clambering around high up on ladders and fixing the aerial and cabling to a granite wall
Nothing is ever simple in such an old house
The other plus side is that the running cost is going to be much the same cost as having a landline!
Yup -a very happy bunny

Today I've finally had the fence replaced that was blown down in the winter storms. It should have been done at the beginning of April, but lockdown scuppered that.

Going on a diet.
Not particularly happy about that - but I've offered to be a 'diet buddy' with a friend who really wants to lose weight but has been struggling.
I could hear their 'relief' when I agreed to record my weekly progress with them.
Some things are easier shared aren't they
