    • I'm going to make some homemade chicken and vegetable soup. I made it last week and despite my fears that it might be too lemony it wasn't. Bread and butter with it and some garlic croutons for Mr GF.

      • Chicken soup here, too. Plus bread (two loaves, one for us and one for neighbours).
Location: north-east Spain, where the sun is too hot, the rain too torrential, the hail too big, the wind too windy and the snow too deep. Last frost: usually mid-April, sometimes first week in May. First frost: mid-October.

                • I got overcome by laziness yesterday. Soup was too much effort, so in the end veggie burgers and broad beans from the freezer.

Soup for lunch. More freezer diving for supper I suspect... And more bread.

                  Edited: burgers, not burners!

                  • Nicos, my favourite mushroom glut recipe is: Mushroom soup recipe | BBC Good Food
https://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/mushroom-soup. It's also good to freeze.

Tonight sea bream fillets dredged in seasoned flour and pan fried with potato dauphinoise, carrots and broccoli with homemade tartare sauce.
