Cooking tonight (Mk4)

Decided to go veggie tonight.

Spicy beans, lentils, tomatoes and onions in the oven with eggs poaching in the middle.
Served with couscous

Tonight will be really easy. Fresh bread from the breadmaker and the rest of the chicken and vegetable soup from a couple of days ago.

Beef and vegetable casserole this evening, using my parsnips, carrots, JA's, Tom's, beans, peas and herbs.

Smoked salmon and smoked mussel risotto (we're in West Argyll for a week), with assorted fresh veg and salad brought with us.

Horrendous green bean veggie burgers from Lidl. Rubber with bits, tasted like it sounds. With a much better salad. Tea and biscuits for pud.

Not sure if I should have actually liked that. " Rubber with bits". That probably says it all.

Tonight here: chicken and vegetable curry with naan. No rubber, no bits I am glad to say.

Followed by chocolate. Must stop the sweet things.

Last of the chops. This time in the pressure cooker with assorted veg. Easy, one-pot meal with a nice gravy. Fruit for afters.

Tonight we're back to prawn, pea, courgette and sweetcorn risotto. I think we're nearly at the end of the courgettes now and next year I must grow more sweetcorn to freeze off the cob.

Just made some mushroom soup for tonight and fresh bread is out of the breadmaker and nearly cool.
