  • Padron peppers

I grow pimientos de Pàdron every Summer in the greenhouse and we really like them. Most days in Summer I will fry a dozen or so to eat as a starter or nibble. Today I was really fancying some for some inexplicable reason.
I was just wondering if anybody has tried freezing surplus ones whole in Summer to eat in Winter and if so with what amount of success.

When I've frozen chillies, they have been rather mushy when thawed out, they might not have frozen fast enough though.
