I made a few more using a smaller silicone mould...

Frustratingly I didn’t bother to put the chocolate in first as they were so shallow - but they clearly needed it .
Not so sure about the coconut ... they looked like they were going moldy

All I’ve made is mulled wine,I really fancied some the other day. I said to my daughter do you want some mulled wine she said urgh that sounds disgusting, then I realised how I talk it sounded like I said mould wine haha she did have a glass after I explained mulled. It was a sachet of cloves & things I found in tesco nice

Just made the first batch of mince pies today (not pictures for you, though, I'm afraid). Used a jar of vintage mincemeat (stuff I made October last year).
I also made my Christmas cake back in October, and plan to ice it on the 23rd.
And in a day or two I plan to make some pan forte.

I'm not a big fan of mulled wine, but the idea of mould wine really would be offputting.

Pan forte, I haven't made that for years. Hmm. Might have to see if I've got all the stuff in stock. Probably. I've rather been hoarding and squirreling stuff away recently... Thanks for the inspiration, Ameno.

              Those chocolates look lovely, gf.

Location: north-east Spain, where the sun is too hot, the rain too torrential, the hail too big, the wind too windy and the snow too deep. Last frost: usually mid-April, sometimes first week in May. First frost: mid-October.
