  • Adding Whiskey to marmalade recipe.

I am planning on making marmalade over the weekend. My husband has suggested that I add some whiskey to the recipe. Has anyone done this? If so with what results? Does it affect setting and/keeping properties?

It is only for the flavor and not the alcohol.
Look up whisky marmalade for the quantity and time to add it and go ahead.

You can use WhisKEY but you shouldn't use WhisKY, some even condone sacrilege and put Malt Whisky in, such a waste lol.

I once bought a jar of Drambui marmalade on a visit to Skye (before the bridge) Quite tasty from memory.
