  • We must have cross posted Snoop...I deffo made a typo of ‘ lead ‘ last night and had literally just changed it.
(funny to think of all the cross ‘wires’ interconnecting in the sky all at the same moment and from all those miles away!)

            • Also with a bit of honey. My mum used to sprinkle a bit of sugar on them, ghastly texture. Honey's much nicer.

Also, also... on the subject of rice pud, I make a rice pud in a pan on the oven or in a pressure cooker and mash in a banana followed by an egg yolk when the pud has cooled a bit. Whisk the white and fold that in to the pud then bung in the oven. Souffléed rice pud. Can't remember where I saw the recipe but it's really good. Honest!

                  • Morning all (just).

                    Lunch: pork goulash with veg.
                    Supper: lentil soup.

                    Wholemeal bread with seeds.

Edited: oops, have just realised that Iunch will be more work than I intended. Picked chicken breast fillets out of the freezer instead of the goulash. Oh well, salad needs eating too.

                    • Just been delving deep into one of the freezers....bum up and legs akimbo
Managed to find the rest of the hoard of last years frozen tomatoes and a small packet of sumac chicken . Perfect for a pasta dish with a side salad.

Tomato and avacado bruschetta to start with.
