    Last night was prawn, courgette and pea risotto.

    Tonight pork escalope with a mushroom and sage sauce, new potatoes, carrots, peas and just maybe the first of the sweetcorn which is struggling to ripen at the moment under the grey skies. Hopefully a side dish of Padron peppers as well.

    Tonight was tagliatelle with smoked bacon, courgette, mushroom, pepper and olives in a creamy white sauce and a bowl of Padron peppers.

    Posh nosh night for us (hit the £200 spend mark at Lidl so had a £10 voucher), grass fed fillet steak, oven chips, black kale and sweetcorn.

    Didn't make courgette soup yesterday but will make green soup today. Also, ginger loaves for us and as a gift. I love ginger cake...
