    Even using reduced sugar it turned out a bit too sweet for me so will probably use it as jam .
    I'll have to look for a more basic recipe for the rest of the toms. I have some red left and will mix them.

      3. Simmer for 30 mins or until the veg is tender.

      4. Blend 2/3 of the soup and return to the pan (I like it a bit lumpy)

      5. Stir in the cream/chilli sauce and reheat.

      Thanks very much for this recipe Two Sheds, it was very tasty and I can recommend it to other grapes looking to use their green tomatoes. The addition of Swedish brown beans (thank you so much Sarriss), just finished it off beautifully.
      Mostly flowers, some fruit and veg, at the seaside in Edinburgh.

        Am finally getting a glut of ripe tomatoes from my outdoor and indoor tomatoes. So am not giving up on them yet but sure I’ll be needing some of these recipes in a few weeks.
