We had rubbish last night. Shame it was so tasty... A Spanish bean stew from a can.

After trip to hospital, we're back in isolation from D, so back to our usual routine of lunch main meal, supper very light. Much better for my stomach but altogether a sadder arrangement.

Lunch: calf's liver with assorted veg and gravy.
Supper: deconstructed salad (Mr Snoop likes all the bits separate, which I've got used to now but looks very odd on the plate).

Picked a bucket of coriander and a load of spinach today. Dried beans are soaked and chapatti dough is resting so it'll be bean, spinach and red lentil curry tonight.

Lobia recipe from Manjula's Kitchen website. With lots of additions as we're not Jains. And pretend naans made from pizza dough started I don't know when but still good. Yum.

Last night was spicy duck with noodles followed by our own strawberries and ice cream

Tonight is asparagus followed by steak, broccoli, gnocchi and mushrooms in a creamy sauce followed by more of our own strawberries.

Last night knocked up a quick meal with onions, garlic, celery, toms, garden herbs and freshly podded broad beans. Served onto linguine and topped with grated cheese.
