    Does anybody know where I can get isinglass (waterglass) to preserve some eggs.

      It always used to be available from your local chemists - unfortunately like most things these days if it doesn't come in a packet it isn't going to be stocked.

      I've been trying to get hold of some sodium citrate to make my own cheese slices - Heston Blumenthal recipe - but unless I want 'cranberry' or 'lemon' overtones, as its used in a urinary tract problem cure (female!) or an industrial sized quantity - it simply isn't easily available.

      If anyone can tell me where to get hold of a domestic/kitchen sized prortion I'd be delighted!
