As there is a way to make your own nematode solution for slugs, is there a way to do the same with the vine weevil or an organic control for them, as I now recycle my compost, and have some weevil in the compost that my begonias were in, I am looking for a way to clean the compost without using chemicals if possible, I can heat my compost but that is very slow for the amount of compost. Would spreading it thinly on a poly sheet on ground to allow the frost to get to them, kill them or would the birds eat them, how would you clean them out?
