  • unplanted bulbs...

Am I too late, I was passed them by my mum and they have languished in garage and are starting to sprout. What should I do? Lash them in and hope for the best? Worth the effort?

You don't say what kind of bulbs they are ROT, but I would go ahead and plant them. What is there to loose ?

From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.

Planted loads of Daffs and Irises yesterday! Got them very cheap so nothing to lose!

Hi Rhubarb, if you don't want to start digging holes why not just stick them all in pots & leave them in a quiet corner of the garden. They should all come up but may flower a little later than normal & if you put them in pots you can move them into position when they are in flower to replace something which has started to fade.
