  • Supermarket daff bulbs

Am I going mad, or didn't supermarkets used to sell nets of daffodil bulbs in the Autumn for planting out before Winter? Not seen any this year anywhere... maybe I'm wrong and they usually appear in stores after Xmas?

Wasn't there a shortage because of dry hot summer?

Yes, I think so. I usually can pick some up in my local a$da but they didn't have any this year.

B&Q had a load in in Hereford - not exactly a supermarket I know, but may be worth a look if there's one near you.

Thought so! I waited until they needed the space for Qu@lity Street last year and picked them up at 15p a net... was hoping for the same this year.

Thanks for confirming that I'm not losing it - bulb shortage would make sense.

My OH picked up daffs and tulips I A**i two weeks ago.
No shortage as they had plenty of them.
