    Default Saxifraga Go8ng downhill again

Well, yet another Saxifraga seems to be shrinking again. Planted in ph neutral soil on rockery round pond but the foliage is diminishing and seems to be resting loose on the surface. Shohld I throw some soil over it ?

You're not alone. Have lost a few despite nursing them.

I have a variegated one with more succulent leaves, might be x urbium, flowers not so showy but slowly invasive.

I always thought saxifraga prefered slighly acidic soil with plenty of grit as a dressing our incorporated in the soil, we have a few scattered around the garden but those in direct sunlight always die
    Mod with attitude!
