I bought some small roses last week. I want to plant them, I dont when the best time would be? Also there looks like 4 individual plants in each pot, should I plant them as they are or split them up?

Sounds like what are known as patio roses. They never get very big, so often do better in large pots or troughs.Comment

Are they really, really small? The sort that are given as gifts and are meant to be kept indoors? I've had some like that but they would disappear from view if they went out in the garden.Comment

They're going to have spent their whole lives indoors, right? If so, they won't like being plunked outside in the middle of winter. They might survive, they might not.
