I'd like to know the answer too! Our peonies look healthy as anything, but flowers? Nothing! I go out and check every day at the moment. Watched kettles and all that maybe...

I found this on a site...

" Peonies are not for every climate. They really need a cool climate, with some frosts. The usual reason for non flowering is that you are in too warm a climate and/or the peony has been planted too deep. The top of the bud should be no greater than 4cms under the ground. Any deeper and it may not flower. Peonies need frost or they will not set flower buds. "

      Planted too deep??
Have you mulched the soil and therefore buried the original one too deeply??

I know they often won't flower for a year after they have been moved- could that be the problem with the new ones???

Or...just too mild this winter in an already sheltered spot????

They are rather notorious for not flowering after moving, the reason is often (as Nicos said) that when replanted they are planted too deeply.
They should be mature after 3 years so maybe check the depth - you might have to dig one up so it might be worth leaving this till the autumn when they die back - put it on your calender!!!

Either too deep or just sulking because they have been moved. Wait until next year there is nothing like a newly opened paeonie to make you smile. Well worth the wait.
