    Flower Bulb Advice

Hi, I set up my vegetable patch last year and it was empty from September to date as all the veg finished. I tried some winter veg sowings but no luck. Please could anyone let me know if it sounds feasible to plant daffodils, tulips, crocuses in the veg patch after it is cleared in September and then after they flower lift them back up about April to store over the summer while to veg patch is in use???

    Thanks, Neil

Might be a bit tight time wise as you need top prepare for new season crops, though feasible from plant side of things as I don't suppose bulbs leach anything from the soil. But there are crops to grow over winter you just need to get them going over summer months and be patient, try sprouts ,garlic, sprouting broccoli, and other brassicas . I'm just getting the hang of all this and determined to be using the plot all year round. It can be done you need to be organised, think ahead, good luck!!
