Anyone know what this is please.
Came up amongst my friend’s hemerocallis.
Looked like a grain plant (oats or barley ) before it flowered.
Lovely bright pink.
Hope someone knows so that I can pretend that I’m brilliant!!

I know the leaves as I have it too - something like a centaurea/knapweed? Came up in my random flower bed!!

Goats beard? ..... I think that is salsify!
When it goes to seed it has a lovely big clock head.
