  • Early spring

    I just noticed in my garden today the cherry blossom in full bloom, this is way to early for it in bloom, normally blooms in April.

      The seasons are all over the place hopefully it won't effect the wildlife too much.
      Location....East Midlands.

        No end to my finches, tits, sparrows, robins, blackbirds, feeding from my apple tree feeding station add to that crows and magpies as well

          Loads of cherry blossoms out here as well in Lincolnshire. Not only in protected places either, but all over. However, some trees in the local park has not got their cherries in blossom yet, but other flowers are. And now it's so cold the flowers will be gone by the morning

            Half an inch of hail here. Once it had blown over, it wasn't that cold though. Although i'm jolly glad i was at the plot before, not during...

              Your potted prunus looks like a Kojo-no-mai. Mine's just starting to flower too, but I would expect it to be out about now, tbh.

              I love mine, it looks good all year round even in the winter when the stems are bare.
              Mostly flowers, some fruit and veg, at the seaside in Edinburgh.
