Is there a variey of climbing rose that would do well in a shady area, i have a corner in my garden that never sees the sun, and would like to have something growing up the fence, if not a rose then can anyone recommend a climber.

Never sees the sun? I don't think any rose would enjoy that, although some work in partial shade (4-5 hrs of sun a day).

We have a rose in total shade at school, and it's never flowered - it's long and straggly and sick looking. I must find a new home for it

I have a small rose that never sees the sun - can't remember what it's called. It's not a climber though.

        Useful aren't I?
