  • Can someone tell me which of these flowers/plants are please?

My mother in law bought us a floral display from Bridgemere Garden Centre last week which was a nice surprise.

It does say some of the plants in there can be planted on but I am not sure which.

I'm not well up on plants or flowers and I know that there is at least one ivy in there but what else can I repot once the rest die off?

You have a small conifer at the back, 2 lavanders on either side, ivy, ornamental daisies, pansies and a pink in the middle front.
You can plant them all in the garden, the pansies and daisies will look a bit straggly by autumn but can get through the winter depending on the cold. Depending on the type of lavender - some are not frost hardy.
If you keep deadheading the display will go on for longer, plus a liquid feed every so often as the nutrients in the compost will get used up

      Thanks Vicky.

Are you sure the ones with the pink little flowers at the back are lavender as there is no fragrance from them whatsoever, I thought lavender always had a very strong fragrance to it?

Can you put on another photo of them, the leaves look like lavender, the flowers look a little odd!

Could it be Rosemary? That's currently in flower.

The one at the sides that looks abit like lavender, I think is an evergreen called andromeda compacta.

Ok, the bottom flowers are half dead, just the top ones have a bit of life left in them.

What a lovely gift from your mother in law.
I think you have a conifer, pansies, bellis perenis (daisies), some kind of ivy and some kind of herb. Lovely. They can all be planted out. The question is - will they be worthwhile.
Enjoy the basket 21 Again. You can certainly re-use the basket.

                        Yes, it is quite nice.

I may plant the conifer and the ivies, not sure about the flowers.
