A reminder for VC

sorry to anyone who tried to grow the giant yellow scabious from the flower circle last year - I really wanted that plant

but this is an imposter - and I haven't a clue what it is.

I suggest you bin your seeds....

Hollyhocks. Here are mine and I found an ungerminated seed. Although yours are hooge

Edit: These were the ones out of the giant yellow scabious bag

See my first post.....I thought I had the seed muddled and they were hollyhocks.
VC kindly sent some seed back to me. I got the same thing. The leaves are much bigger than any holly hocks I've ever grown.

Mine are like NG's so Hollyhocks it is.

I like 'olly'ocks and 'appy to be growing them.
