    Some of those plants on that link I wouldn't bother with growing for a cut flower.

    As VC has said each plant has different needs - you also need to take into consideratio their growing habits - you don't want the short plants being shaded out with taller growing varieties. Also flowering time, what goes in a vase together and when each plant will flower.

    I know they aren't loved by everyone but there's some great chrysanths or dahlias that are more suited for picking than some of those on that link.

    Are you planting these in your garden or allotment?
    Are all the plants for cutting or do you want it to look nice year round?
