I live in Co Wicklow, east coast of Ireland. I am surprised as well. It's only this variety that's in flower. My other daffs are only 3-4 inches out of the soil.

My Sweetpeas are sprouting in the heated propagator , last year I grew an early crop in the greenhouse border, not made my mind up yet for this year, might have them in a large pot so I can move them outside later maybe.

Does anyone know if I get Honesty to germinate this month would it flower this year? Or is it a strict biennial and will not flower until next year. Thanks in advance.

I let the seed fall naturally and it germinates in the late summer and flowers the following year.

When I tried this it didn't work. I got some lovely big plants come the end of the year though.
Nut why not try it yourself, who knows the weather this year might bring them on?

Got all excited today, tried winter sowing in mineral bottles last October, it has been hit and miss. But today my first Sea Holly has germinated, I did not think it would happen.I think there is another one on the way, I only put 3 seeds in the bottle. Its the little thing that make you smile
