In the heated propagator or indoors, list so far is: white nemesia, portulaca (so, so tiny the seedlings are hard to see), geraniums, verbena rigida, swan river daisy, pink, white and yellow cosmos.

All but the portulaca now out in the greenhouse to give house room to toms etc.

Hardier things still to be sown.

I fancy a bit of a wildflower meadow at the top of the garden.

I checked the price of wildflower plugs and sadly couldn't afford to do it that way.

I have just received a packet of wildflower seeds (purchased for 1)

A little poem on the front of the packet reads

    "Sprinkle these wildflower seeds
    somewhere warm and sunny
    with a bit of water
    they will begin to bloom.
    Then watch the
    bees and butterflies
    arrive pretty soon!"

I won't be taking this advice but will try and grow my own plug plants using these seeds

Sown more nasturtiums because first lot didn’t germinate.
    And sunflowers.
